Fitness Trainings For Our Children


In recent years we have heard increasingly such phrase as "children's fitness", but not everyone knows what it is. Let's discuss it now, as that is a real chance to give your children something new and at the same useful for their health, except remote control transformer toys, which are considered to be rather popular nowadays. Many people confuse the children's fitness classes with normal physical activity. But these definitions are not the same, of course, because fitness has a great number of advantages. In the first turn, children's fitness is represented by a special sports program, designed to meet the child's physical preparation level as well as the age. During the training course children not only develop the agility and flexibility, but also splash out the accumulated energy, playing merrily with other kids.


A little more about the children's fitness

Nowadays children's fitness is gaining a great popularity. These classes are carried out in numerous sports clubs as well as in dance schools and children's developing studios. Children’s fitness is a kind of sports, which includes elements of gymnastics, dance, aerobics, yoga and even martial arts. Group lessons for children's fitness usually involve not more than 15 people, and the training is organized in the form of games. This allows children to relax and to enjoy the process.


The main features of this fitness

Fitness for children is a set of different exercises, which combine elements of gymnastics, dance, aerobics, including at the same time various styles and directions. The peculiar feature of children's fitness is that it helps to develop a kid's flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination and sense of rhythm.
This sport strengthens and develops different muscles including the back ones. It influences positively on the child's posture, helping to play happily in the garden (kids ride on cars for sale) or to drive a remote control toys for kids in the park as long as it is possible.
As a rule fitness for children is divided into the following groups:
·               toddlers - 3-6 years old;
·               children - 7-11 years old;
·               teenagers - 12-16 years old.
Fitness facilities, as opposed to certain types of sport, are considered to be less traumatic. The physical loads during such sessions are quite limited, respectively, the injury probability is minimal. In addition, they are more interesting for the kids, because each session contains various game elements. It is also important that the fitness activities for children are really varied. And that is a definite incentive for training.
Children activities at the fitness clubs are a perfect addition to physical education, organized in kindergartens or schools. At the same time the important feature of the children's fitness is to make up the special program, taking into account all individual features and characteristics of the child.

Who can go in for children's fitness?

All healthy boys and girls beginning from the age of 3 years old are able to visit sports trainings at fitness clubs. However, during the children's fitness classes it is recommended to take into account the important age characteristics of children.
The kids aged 3 years should be engaged in children's fitness not longer than 20-30 minutes, 2 times a week, while children aged 5-10 years - about 30 minutes 2-3 times a week.
For children of 11-14 years old it is already possible to organize 40-minute program 3 times a week. Beginning from this age the program of children's fitness exercises can also include the training course on a stationary bike.

Are there any contraindications for the children's fitness classes?

We are glad to inform that children's fitness has no absolute contraindications. However, if the child is suffering from chronic diseases, it is important to choose the correct program that could be helpful to strengthen the body. For example, if your child has asthma, the fitness programs shouldn't include aerobics and instead of it you can always increase the amount of yoga classes. And in case of spine problems the children mustn't do any strength exercises, but aerobics and swimming will be rather useful on the contrary.
Of course, if the child is suffering from chronic diseases, the instructor's training program should be agreed with the doctor.
According to the specialists' point of view children's fitness is not just a funny pastime, it helps to solve important health problems. It contributes much to the resistance of the child's organism to diseases, strengthens the musculoskeletal system, helps to form the correct posture and prevents the flatfoot development. In addition, children's fitness increases the functionality of the autonomic system, improves metabolism, and increases physical ability and endurance of the body.

All in all the advantages of children's fitness are obvious. It contributes not only to better health, but also to the development of a harmonious personality, sharing a love of sports and increasing the resistance to mental stress.
